Twin Savage (Porn Star Boyfriends, #2)Twin Savage by Sunniva Dee

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Genius! Mother Crunkin Genius! (mic drop) 😉 Review to follow after I let this digest a bit. OMG, favorite book, so far!

UPDATED REVIEW:
Sunniva Dee is brilliant when it comes to writing a book. Her hugely effective use of hidden meaning, double meaning and writing parallels is flipping fantastic! After reading Twin Savage, she is definitely one of my instant and do not hesitate one click authors!

Twin Savage is written so well that you lose sight of the fact that it is part of the ‘Porn Star Boyfriend’ series. It is SO much more than a guy being a porn star. She writes these characters with so much depth, so much emotion that you honestly feel as if you’re part of the group and storyline. It just sucks you in (on such a good way). There was no ‘fluff’ in this porn star book (pardon the pun.)

Her symbolism and ability to switch between colloquial and educated verbiage is utterly outstanding! Besides reading a fantastic book, I learned a thing or two. Kudos to Miss Dee for doing her research on topics and characters discussed.

I think in modern day western culture it is considered taboo to talk about one girl with seven guys, but this is written so well that you can slip into Geneva’s shoes as she explores other cultures and customs related to grief.

Geneva is an anthropology PhD student who had big plans to travel to Africa and the Amazon with her fiancee, Julian. Unfortunately, she finds herself a widow before they even get to the alter. For the past six years, she has lived at ‘the Queen’ with Julian and seven other guys (all as scrumptious and delicious as the next). One of the roommates is Julian’s twin brother, Luka.

Luka is a medical student who is about to enter his last semester before residency. In order to get through med school without loans, he is in fact a porn star god. However, there is so much behind his pretty exterior that you truly must read the book to see what makes him tick and why he does what he does. When I found out, it made him so much more real and freaking human. (Insert sigh).

Geneva and Luka are truly just incredible together. It’s amazing to read about the full transformation of a relationship and to be able to see parallels within your own life or something you might have read (I.e. how a relationship should work versus how they do work). There are ups and downs, misunderstandings, conflict, among other issues.

Twin Savage is a scintillating, hot and sexy, angsty romantic comedic drama. PLEASE do yourselves a favor and one-click this book. It is utterly fantastic!

“I love you, Geneva. You love me. So why wouldn’t it be us?”
“It should be us, right?”
“I think it has to be us.”
